Commission on the Future of the UC Berkeley Library

The Commission on the Future of the UC Berkeley Library has been charged by Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost George Breslauer and Academic Senate Chair Christina Maslach with studying the current state of the University Library and envisioning its future.  The Commission plans to undertake a wide-ranging inquiry, including hearings with stakeholders and an academic symposium with national library leaders. 

Members of the Commission look forward to engaging with students, faculty, staff, and the public, and are eager to receive your thoughts, comments, concerns, and requests via the webform below.  If you represent a group on campus that would like to meet with the Commission, please contact Hilary Schiraldi, staff to the Commission, hschiral@library.berkeley.edu
