Instructions for Faculty

Submission instructions for the Research Assistantship for the Humanities on-line application form. Please refer to the regulations for complete program guidelines.

  1. Applications must be submitted electronically, unless there are mitigating circumstances.
  2. Complete all required fields on the application: Name; Department; Telephone; Full E-mail address; Title; Descriptive Title of Research Project; Summary of Research or Creative Project; Budget Requested; etc.
  3. Enter only integers (e.g. 250) in the Budget field without decimals, commas, or dollar signs.
  4. We recommend that you cut and paste into the appropriate boxes on the form your CV, list of publications, or other scholarly or creative activity.
  5. Attachments to the form cannot be accepted. Plain (unformatted) text is required.
  6. You do not need to furnish a hard copy to your department COR Coordinator.

Summary of Proposed Research or Creative Project*
Please provide: 1) a full description of the project; 2) an explanation of the project's significance and potential impact; and, 3) an explanation of how a graduate research assistant will participate in and benefit from the project. Creative artists may provide descriptions of past projects, if the process for the proposed project is similar. Summaries must be between 400 and 500 words and comprehensible to faculty in your general disciplinary area.
