Submission Instructions for Faculty

Please note: Applicants denied either a Faculty Research Grant (FRG) or Junior Faculty Research Grant (JFRG), will be considered for the $1,000 Research Enabling Grant (REG). Accordingly, a separate application is not required.

  1. Applications must be submitted electronically, unless there are mitigating circumstances.
  2. Complete all required fields on the application: Name; Department; full E-Mail address; Title; Descriptive Title of Research; and, Total of all Categories (input total amount you are requesting, for example 1000).
  3. Enter only whole numbers (for example, 50/200/500) in the Budget fields without decimals, commas, or dollar signs.
  4. You may provide a URL link to your CV and list of publications and/or other scholarly or creative work for the past 5 years.  If you don’t have a URL, we recommend that you cut and paste into the appropriate boxes on the form the same information. Attachments to the form cannot be accepted. Plain text formatting is required.
  5. After completing your application and clicking "submit," your application will be forwarded electronically to your department COR Coordinator. Your department may have set a deadline to receive applications earlier than the COR deadline. Please check with your COR Coordinator to ensure that you comply with departmental procedures.
