The Commission on the Future of the UC Berkeley Library was charged by Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost (EVCP) George Breslauer and then-Chair of the Berkeley Division of the Academic Senate Christina Maslach with studying the current state of the University Library and envisioning its future. The Commission has issued its final report. EVCP Breslauer and Division Chair Elizabeth Deakin are now reviewing the report to determine feasible and sustainable strategies for implementation. Their written response to the report will be issued in the next several weeks, and made available here.
