- Degree (M. Analytics.)
The candidate must:
- Have completed requirements for the Bachelor’s degree in one of the Colleges or Schools of the University of California or at another college or university of approved standing;
- Have completed at least two semesters of graduate study in residence at the University of California;
- a program of at least 28 units of approved upper-division and graduate courses pertinent to the field of specialization;
- at least 18 units must be strictly graduate courses in the major subject;
- at least 12 units must be courses on analytical methods in the major subject;
- Maintain an average grade of at least B in all course work undertaken as a graduate student at the University of California.
- Program
- The program of work of each candidate is to be under the supervision of a Program Committee appointed by the Chair of the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research Department.
- The program must include at least 4 units at the graduate level of professionally-oriented individual or group study, properly supportive of the program of study, culminating in a written report. No more than 5 units, and none of the 12 required units of graduate courses on analytical methods in the major subject, can be individual or group study.
- Subject to approval of the Graduate Council, the program of study is determined and administered by the faculty of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
