879. Requirements for the Bachelor of Science Degree

The degree of Bachelor of Science is granted upon completion of at least 120 units of study.

  1. Of the 120 or more units required, at least 36 units must be upper division courses, including a minimum of 15 units of upper division courses in the College of Natural Resources. Not more than 4 units may be in activities courses in Physical Education. (For an exception see SR 642.)
  2. Each candidate for the B.S. degree must complete a major program as described in Regulation 876 (see SR 642). Each candidate must attain at least a C average in all upper division courses required of the major program.
