- It is the responsibility of each College or School to establish regulations governing dismissal. (Berkeley Division Regulations, Part II) (EC 5.17.13)
- A student who becomes subject to the provisions of these Regulations is under the supervision of the Faculty of the College or School concerned.
- That Faculty, or its designated agent, has the power to:
- dismiss from the University students under its supervision;
- suspend the provisions of these regulations, thereby permitting retention in the University of students thus subject to dismissal; or
- authorize the return to the University of students who have been dismissed under these regulations.
