50 Years after the Senate Vote on the FSM: A Reflection

A roundtable conversation on the Free Speech Movement (FSM) was held on December 8, 2014, the 50th anniversary of the UC Berkeley Academic Senate meeting upholding a resolution on free speech, and at the same location in Wheeler Hall auditorium. The panel discussion, featuring UC Berkeley faculty, focused on the impact of the FSM on universities and more broadly on society, and explored the current challenges facing universities on matters related to freedom of speech.
